I just thought thats the best was to simulate these "clamped" points and prevent people from using "broken" track.
U can read the Story behind that on the Mian Page (the modern Layout Variant).
But for short: Its a mountain pass that was only bodged back together after Bridges where bonbed and boke from War Damage, the line was only fully rebuild many years later.
