Big_Miner [vanilla +DLC]

Description
The first of an industrial series of large rovers, the Big Miner.

Why such an apt name? Because otherwise it might get lost in an overfull blueprints directory. Easier to find this way.

The series consists currently of three vehicles. A Miner, a Collector/transporter, and a Mobile refinery/assembler.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fully survival ready, no mods, equipped for team play, but fully operable solo, and the vehicles and their systems are fully operable without a jetpack even.

Every vehicle comes equipped with:
- A blast door block chassis for durabilty
- A ram bar for trees
- front & rear thrusters for better acceleration, braking, and standing still on slopes
- Pistoned landing gear to lock down the vehicle
- A main cockpit high up for visibility
- Laser antenna on a piston for increased range-to-horizon
- Survival kits
- Ample cargo space
- Oxygen/hydrogen generation
- Solar panels
- Hydrogen engines
- Defense turrets. All interior turrets are placed so they can be reloaded by hand without a jetpack.
- basic refinery & assembler (the dedicated vehicles have the full gear of course. )

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Miner can carry 1.9ML worth of cargo and its mining rig can reach depth of a little over 60 meters.

I intentionally did not use complex setups using timer to deploy or operate anything as they tend to desynch when miss-used.

I tried to dummy-proof everything by mapping the controls in a logical fashion and clearly label them where I could.
A button to unlock the landing, gear, one to tilt the drill rig hinge, one button to unlock the mining pistons, one to unlock the mining rotor, one to start spinning, one to start mining, one to extend the mining pistons, etc... Should be self-explanatory, and labeled where possible.

The aft cockpit can be used to position the rover and deploy the parking gears & mining rig. The control seat on the aft corners are best used to start the mining process. Controls are mapped to an LCD.

The stone ejectors are controlled from button panels near them.

The ore rovers can be deployed and recovered from a button panel near them.

All connectors meant to dock small ships have little pads right next to them to lock the small crafts' landing gears so you don't risk losing them by accidentally pressing P from the large rover cockpit. (Handbrake is mapped to 1 on the large rovers).
BEWARE: When first spawning in the large rovers, all landing gears are unlocked, simply lock all landing gears from the control menu, and you won't risk any accidental detaching.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Most screens on most blocks have been scripted using the Automatic LCD script. Even most buttons screens have propbool, functioning statuses on them.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The general envisioned workflow for the large rovers is as follows.

The miner heads out first and find deposits, either by its own detector, or by using two ore detecting rovers it carries. Position, stop, lock in place, deploy the mining rig, activate the stone ejectors, and let it do it's thing. it's slow enough to be able to be left alone and dig deep without supervision.

The little aircraft docked on the mining rig can be used to go fetch the Big Collector.

The miner can deploy two harvester-like dump arms that have been configured to pull ores & ingots, and every rover has a collector tray on its back to receive. The Big Collector has a bigger tray for easier positioning.

The Big Refinery can either brought up as well, or have cargo ferried to it by the Big Collector.

The collector has an ore/ingot dump connector on its front and the Big Refinery has a deployable collector tray that fits underneath the Big Collector's bumper to receive the cargo.

Everything basically has been set up in such a way that you can get something going and leave it alone for a while.

So the whole industrial workflow can be done by a small crew, or even solo.

Let me know what you think and have fun!
