@Josh, the issue with the wheels not turnig sounds like an issue with your truck not using the SIBTaT System, which was kind of a standard when i was building this trailer. Basically the rope connections send a "handbrake" signal to the Trailer if it doesnt receive a signal from the Truck as a safeguard for the trailer to not roll away if not hooked up. So like i said your truck is propably not using the standardized system.

I currently dont play the game much, so I can not say what is the standard today but you could solve it by checking trough the controllers going to the brakes and disconnecting them.

I really love this trailer. However I have 2 issues with it.

This trailer lacks ropes (or tie downs/Ratchet straps). I can just add the myself, minor issue.

When the 5th wheel is locked and all hoses connected, the trailer refuses to budge. The truck I use will pull it but the wheels will refuse to turn.

Note: Im pairing this trailer with the Western Star 4900 EX creation by gravedigger. mainly because of the electrical connectors/hoses.

I really like this creation but I have no idea if you still play this game.

Cheers!

I would only suggest a compartment for a bunch of rope to tie down. This trailer is really lacking in that department. Otherwise its fantastic.

Whats your simulation speed at when you have the trailer spawned in? And did you modify it in any way shape or form? There should be a cable connecting the pistons to the rest of the gooseneck and at least for me the pistons fall into place immediateley after spawning in. So i cannot reproduce your issue. Even with the workshop downloaded version.

The issue is the pistons for the gooseneck get locked straight up on spawn. Move the trailer at all without connecting them and they snap forward and phase into the gooseneck causing the trailer to fly away. Force them back into position with another machine and they'll work fine for the most part but every so often they will also glitch and make the trailer fly away. Idk if I'm doing something wrong or what
