New Alba - A European, Vanilla Map


New Alba is a vanilla, European map with plenty of flat build-able land, lots of coastline and a decent amount of resources.
IT has maximum airport and shipping connections, 3 highway and 2 active railway connections. There are also 2 railway connections that are not in use, which can be utilised if wanted - you will need to use 81 tiles mod or map editor for this.

The map was created (loosely) around a height map of Kirkwall on the Orkney Islands, Scotland (left hand drive - by default).

Mass Transit is required for 2 and 4 lane highways.

This map is very playable within 25 tiles, but offers alot more with 81 tiles unlocked.

- Random trees removed from highway and railway
- Highway levelled to prevent minor glitching
- Rocks adjusted around highway tunnels to remove "floating" rocks and foliage
- Railway levelled into tunnel
