Description
REMEMBER FUTARADRAGON'S PIXEL FULL BRIGHT SHADER. Use the page's download link and place it in your mod folder.

WARNING
Since this mod replaces the femalehead.png and malehead.png images, it won't work with any other mods that do the same thing. You can only have one head, after all.

That means it's incompatible with these mods:
Make the Arachne a Cuter Race
Making The Arachne A Cuter Race
Arachne Full Spiders Reskin

For Arcana users, these hair packs are completely fine, but you only need to use one of them:
Arcana's Hairstyle Another Race Pack (Kitsune, Lamia, Aegi, Felin, Arachne)
Arcana's Arachne Hairstyle (same thing, but only adds hairstyles for Arachne)

This mod replaces the following Arachne-related items,
but only with a bit of an alpha/opacity adjustment:
- femalehead.png, malehead.png
- arachnegrenadespider image
- ship pet images (except red spiders, since they have black eyes)

This is a quick mod for the Arachne Race, to let them have fun with FutaraDragon's Pixel Full Bright Shader mod.

I altered only the eyes of Arachne, their pets, and their grenade launcher weapon summon.

End-of-description reminder in case you missed it, because we all do that sometimes:
Remember, FutaraDragon's shader itself may not work properly just being subscribed to regularly, so download it from its page and put it in your mods folder instead.

If you're interested in doing this sort of thing yourself...
feel free to use an unpacker like PAKit[pakit.ibraheemrodrigues.com] and see what this mod consists of. It's really simple, actually.

For the parts of an image you want to have show up in the dark with the shader mod, the pixels have to be adjusted so their opacity, AKA transparency, is 99.6%, which is equivalent to alpha value 254.

If you want to make color choices glow, the related hex codes(such as FF8000, which would be orange, for people not familiar with this), need to have FE tacked on to the end (so in the case of that hex code, it'd be FF8000FE).

The Fragments of Ruin equivalent of this might be a better choice to examine if you're interested in altering the color choices for a species, and need an example to see how it's done. For that one, I replaced the head images, and also included a .patch file that replaces the color codes.

Could you make a patch for the Arachne Mod Color Patch? When I added fullbright I noticed I was only able to have red eyes that glow and was wanting to ask if you could patch it to where all Arachne eye colors can glow in the dark.

Updated the description with more info, and tips at the bottom for anyone wanting to try their hand at this themselves.

If something you're using replaces the head, that'll mess with it. The spider ship pet, and the ones from the race's special grenade launcher, should be affected though. Can't imagine many mods are available that alter those.

Remember also that this needs FutaraDragon's Pixel Full Bright Shader if you want eyes (and anything else that's at an alpha value of 254) to appear to glow in the dark at all. Without the shader, the color alteration won't be noticeable at all.

Also, the shader needs to be downloaded and placed in the mods folder instead. Doesn't seem to work with just a regular subscription. I thought for the longest time that I was doing something wrong when I first started doing these little alpha edits.

It doesn't appear to do anything, at least with the reskin mods I'm using.
