Description

Another episode in the Circusy series. This time it's all about the Arbalest!

Creating a viable version for the Arbalest was challenging because she has some glaring weaknesses in PvE that got completely revamped for PvP making her almost OP.
However, I feel that she is now more consistent, especially when combined with my other current (and future :) ) class reworks, without really becoming OP.

As always, feedback is much appreciated. Special thanks to the DD modding community for continuing to support this fantastic game and inspiring me to make this mod!



Circusy Arbalest Rework changelog, mod v. 1.1:

Base stats
- armor upgrades grant some prot;
- base HP reduced to compensate for this;
- base speed slightly reduced;
- higher damage on low rolls (more consistent), crit unchanged;
- less dodge;
- more resistant to bleed, less resistant to blight;
- slightly better at disarming traps.

-> New Mechanic: Stabilize! Her move skill is replaced by a new skill that lets her alternate between the default (Mobile) stance and the Stabilized stance, which grants her +15% damage and +10% stun/move resistance, at the cost of a strong speed debuff.

Sniper shot
- unchanged, but stronger damage output when Stabilized (i.e. when she is almost guaranteed to go last)
-> This new mechanic is a reference to her Butcher's Circus trinket "Stabilizing Tiller"!

Sniper's mark
- dodge debuff duration increased

Bola
- it now moves her back one rank
- dmg slightly reduced to account for the new buff

Blindfire
- base dmg slightly reduced (same as above),
- better accuracy,
- still hits one random target, but ignores stealth
- buffs crit chance instead of speed (for balance purposes)

Battlefield Bandage
- slightly more consistent healing across levels (5-5 instead of 4-5 at max level)
- cures bleed
- no healing buff (unlike Musketeer - coming soon)

Suppressing fire
- slightly lower accuracy
- debuffs enemy speed, crit chance, and crits received

Rallying Flare
- does not reduce stress (unlike Musketeer - coming soon)
- instead, has a chance to clear debuffs a la Butcher's Circus (gets better with upgrades, from 20% to 30% max: each hero rolls individually)

Greetings!
I installed your crossbowman mod and played around, I wanted you to fix 4 things if you still have a desire to make your mod.
1. Changing the move was certainly an interesting idea, but when the group is caught off guard and, God forbid, moves to the 1st and 2nd positions, it will be of little use. I would like you to replace skill 4 with a new damage increase skill
2. Let the tension sound or the sound of your choice be heard after applying the amplification skill
3. Let the standard attack have a piercing effect after strengthening, so that it makes sense to use the strengthening skill.
4. Add a team skill to strengthen the group and make it more useful.
