Seasons of Warhammer: Autumn

This mod redoes a number of textures to give the vast majority of the Warhammer world a fall-like texture. Inspired by the snowy chaos mod and an old Game Boy Color game I played as a lad, I bring you this mod.

All it does is give the world a different look. No more, no less. World and battle maps included! It does NOT cause the textures and map to change after X turns.

There may be missing or screwed-up textures. Please consider this a beta for the time being. If you encounter a texture that isn't done in the color scheme, or is outright not showing up, please report it, and be as descriptive as possible: if it's a battle map, where are you fighting?

If something is amiss on the world map, again, descriptive: where is it, and equally important, who owns the city where you notice the issue? That DOES make a difference.

Any messages that are "I found a bad texture. Please fix" or something along those lines, will just be ignored. There's dozens upon dozens of texture files, and I'm not going to go through them one at a time because you didn't offer more details.

Please offer any suggestions as well. I don't know if I did all of the compression stuff correctly or a lot of that stuff. If you know what you're doing, and can offer insight into that, or other textures that I should change, please do so. I was having trouble getting a lot of the battle tree textures to work properly. Again, any help would be appreciated.

I realize that the mod is sizable. I don't really know which files are necessary for what I'm trying to do, and which ones aren't. If you can shed light on this, that would be awesome.

Q:Are you going to do other seasons? Spring, Winter, Summer?
A:If this mod does well enough, I will considering doing a Winter (snow, whites, blues etc.) and a Summer mod (bolder, brighter greens). Spring would be default.

Q:Can you make the map change seasons the way they did in older Total War games?
A: I have no idea if that's possible. If it is and someone can do it, I will gladly lend my mods to such an endeavor if asked.

Q:Why is Lustria recolored? It's a tropical jungle!
A: Short answer: Because I wanted to. Long Answer: Tree types are actually tied to settlement ownership, rather than region. That's why I, above, wanted people to include who owns the settlement in reporting bugs. It would look stupid if some factions were going full fall colors, while others weren't.

Q: This mod is breaking <insert mod here>.
A: HIGHLY UNLIKELY. All this mod does is change a bunch of .dds texture files. It does not touch the databases, and it has no scripts. If adding this mod is causing your really complicated script heavy, UI window heavy, crazy fun mod to break, it's on your end. Use Kaedrin's Mod Manager and try again.
