Thank you too for letting me know, this as well. I shall note this in my next update notes that my mod and this mod will not work 'out-of-the-box), which is sad. This is the ONLY mod it does not work with, though, thru no fault of my own. :(

@rebelelephant - Also, as a 'helpful tip' for ya!

If you ever have an issue with something, ALWAYS (when possible, for ARMA, on Steam) provide:

1 - What happened?

2 - What mods were loaded?

3 - Did/can you recreate this issue elsewhere? (example on some other profile with different mods loads, or in this case, my test mission)?

4 - REAL IMPORTANT - If you think this is a mod conflict (your issue), a DIRECT LINK to the REAL dev's page.

Why #4? As a IT tech of 40+ years as well as a programmer for 45+ years (yeah, I am an old fart and smell like it too...hehehe), I have seen MANY times people complaining about issues, when IN FACT, it was a USER ERROR. Such as getting driver updates from like 'Mega Drive' or 'Google Drive', instead of Intel/AMD/etc. Using stuff that had viruses in them, wrong drivers, and out-dated drivers.

By having the DIRECT LINK, you AND I can be ASSURED that we are on the 'same page' AND using the CORRECT mod (in this case).


The above items are really applicable for ANY service related call...ANY AND ALL of them...cars..AC...plumbing...this...

The service guys WILL appreciate it AND it WILL allow and PERMIT for a QUICKER and MORE ACCURATE repair as well! Thus, IN THE END, saving YOU, your TIME AND MONEY! (e.g., 1 trip to the repair shop versus 3).

@rebelelephant - TYPICALLY, what is going on is SOMETHING is trying to 'over ride' the default menu.

All I do is to ADD/REMOVE menu items - NOTHING ELSE.

The actual command is "player addaction/removeAction...". This is a STANDARD ARMA command. It is NOT an issue with this mod.

HOWEVER, you can ALWAYS hit the ALT-HOME key, which will show the menu! (maybe, with THIS mod)

This is covered in the FAQ section, under 'Single Player Questions'

Also, as denoted in the notes, IF YOU HAVE ISSUES, TRY THINGS FIRST WITH MY TEST MISSION LOADED ONLY. ;)

Also, looking at the SOG AI (ALWAYS provide links to such), this mod RE-WRITES the default menu system. The MOD IS AT FAULT. Again, I use STANDARD MENU COMMANDS, this is NOT.

My menu adds and removes items 'on the fly', thus why the SOG mod will not work (probably).

Which mean ANY menu that adds/removes stuff probably will not work either, not just mine. Now, if stuff was NEVER added, it would probably be fine.

A 'work-around'? Maybe - Use the 50+ hotkeys for stuff. Most never show any menu, they just 'do their thing'.

I am sorry you're having this issue, as you may have seen, you are the only one with this issue and SOG IS 're-doing' the menu... ;)

The SOG mod is almost 75mb...it is over writing a LOT of stuff! And it has CHANGED how ARMA works, and that is on them. :( (such as using the TAB key to see the (Action Menu) when by DEFAULT, it is the mouse wheel (I think, I re-mapped my eons ago))

it pops up for a second and then disappears

Has anyone ever said this mod conflicts with SOG AI? just curious. trying to find out why this mod won't fully load and work properly. It's almost there. It's telling me it loads and is on/off and all the options to keybind it are there. but the left side screen(which i'm assuming comes on automatically) never shows up on the screen.
