U-BOOT THE BOARD GAME
Custom 3D U-boot Typ VIIC and painted crew miniatures

Sources
  • External 3D model of the U-boot by Ashkelon [sketchfab.com] (CC BY 4.0) [creativecommons.org] (object subdivided, slight color grading and emblem applied to the texture).
  • Internal hull sections' original textures, resins pack models and miniatures made by Tumba (slight textures and 3D objects modifications applied).
  • Flanks internal walls' textures taken from this video game (I wanted to use the original artwork [www.boardgamegeek.com], posted by the authors, but its resolution is too poor for a quality rendering).
  • Lighting asset bundles made by Fenrys

Instructions included to move the U-boot into your own mod.

The hull sections' subdivision and spaces do not perfectly reflect the actual U-boot Typ VIIC project but the board game design.


MINIATURES

Original miniatures slightly modified and digitally painted over to reflect the style of movies as:
the 2010 TV mini series “The sinking of the Laconia” [www.imdb.com]
and the widely acclaimed Wolfgang Petersen's 1981 “Das Boot” [www.imdb.com]
