Twitch Lib

Description

Welcome to Twitch Lib!
This mod basically reimplements Noita's twitch integration in pure Lua.
This allows for more fine control by other mods and by players. Allowing for a handful of new settings.
It should also work alongside my Twitch Extended mod.
Note that this mod is basically a beta at this point, a tech demo.
As cool as it is it is likely to still have quite a few bugs and issues.
Feel free to report any issues you find.

[This mod requires Config Lib, it will not function properly without it.]

This mod currently adds:
  • A option to set the time before the first vote at the start of the round.
  • The ability to set the amount of vote options.
  • The ability to disable the voting system altogether.
  • A option to colour the votes based on their severity.
  • A option to set what happens when a vote is a draw (pick random, nothing or all)
  • The ability to decided if no votes is nothing or a draw.

To access the new Config Menu during a run press the Cog button at the top right of the screen (It might move based on how many mods add new buttons.)

No idea if you're still working on this, but I found a couple issues. First is, it doesn't seem to matter if "no votes is a draw" is toggled or not. Possibly because that was added as a vanilla feature? Second, trying to set the outcome as "none" just results in a voting round starting again instantly without waiting for a cooldown.

Personally I'd love to be able to set "no votes" to "none" and a normal draw to "random", but I can't seem to have it both ways.

I've been running into a bug. When restarting around 3-4 runs, the twitch lib option menu just breaks. it does not show text. Also, the vote box also breaks. With some of the options missing text as well.

This does also affect channel point redeems too because chat can no longer redeem events. The only way to fix this is through clicking "restart with enabled mods active". This is only a temp fix though, as the same issue will come up a few restarts later.

no idea, haven't had enough people use this mod to figure out any bugs

Does this bug still persist?
I am more than willing to make a few runs with a Logger mod enabled to help out with bugfixing.

(which means doing a run with the enable logger mod, then sending me your logger.txt file from your noita folder after the bug happens)

i'd need logs to figure out what causes that

The problem still persists where the vote menu randomly disappears after some amount of time. I use the mod to primarily have it not cast a vote if no one votes so that the vote system isn't randomly assigning events and whatnot, but if it just breaks the vote system, it doesn't seem very worthwhile.

This mod is awesome. It's got so many of the options I've been looking for, with more vote options, the ability to decide what happens on a draw, and what happens with no votes.

The only issue I've found so far is the voting panel disappears about 15 to 30 minutes into a run, and then I can't get it to reappear. Disconnecting and reconnecting to Twitch doesn't work, nor does clicking any of the options. Disappearance the first time seemed to occur when a new voter voted, the second I didn't actually see what happened to make it disappear.
