[REC] Sirius class heavy cruiser

Developed in response to the Serenade class heavy cruisers and Ballista class cruisers that LKF began fielding Sirius class heavy cruisers to combat these ships. Sirius class ships are more heavily armored and armed than any type of cruiser REC has fielded, including the Stanton class. Sirius class cruisers came as a large surprise to LKF, considering they were developed and built within only a few weeks after REC learned of the Serenade and Ballista classes.

The Sirius class is the most heavily armed and armored ship REC has ever put into service. Equipped with dozens of missile and gatling turrets and a light gravity gun mounted on the bow the Sirius is more than capable of handling anything LKF can throw at it. It also has a reinforced frame, with heavy armor present and covering up decoys to help prevent weaker parts of the ship from being targeted and damaged. Being a cruiser it also carries a small contingent of fighters and can sustain itself for long periods of time.
