Yet another Stalker mutants reupload

Description
STALKER mutants that were ripped from sir.ghostington's mod that was ripped from PsychoGuys Stalker Mod that was ripped from ArmSTALKER ONLINE that was ripped from the original STALKER game.

Decided to fix some of the issues myself after finding out that the other stalker mutant reuploads had invicible mutants and/or being 2-3gbs too big just because of the sound files.

Main info:
Fixed the missing sound files, removed the previous damage script and replaced it with some other one I found that I know works for the mutants vanilla damage, removed the broken hold action for each mutant when they died, and deleted a few reduntant files.

Mutants that were fixed health wise:
Bloodsuckers
Controllers
Boars
Dogs
Cats
Pseudogiants
Chimeras
Fleshs
Snorks

Didn't bother with the non main stalker mutants, doesn't work with Ace.


Known issues:
- Some mutants like the controller or bloodsucker can die easily with shots to the chest/head area;
Can be fixed by giving the mutants a helmet and body armor, will update at some point;

- Mutants can easily be killed by explosives, even pseudogiants by 1 direct hit of a GL;

- Error that pops up only once for each type of mutant about some animation stance when they're spawned;

- Mutants not dealing damage as long as you keep moving (doesn't always work);

- Loading the mod without CBA will also cause errors but afaik they were only about sounds.

- Any modules present, do not work, and won't work.


I don't own any these assets and should there be some issue it'll be removed if asked.

None of the modules work as far as I know, I only worked on the mutants themselves.

I was just comparing the .pbos from your mod and the current ARMSTALKER version and they don't include any FSMs in the logic pbo regarding mutant behaviors. I figure that they removed them and switched to .sqf scripts instead? And that update is most likely where they added the new cloak behavior.

The FSMs were barely edited from the original version that I grabbed, read the Main Info in the description above for what I edited.

So I would have to do what this mod did but to the new bloodsuckers from ARMSTALKER? Guess I will try to learn how to code arma then. Are all the new behaviour FSMs your personal touch or are they required for the rips you made?

From what I remember while I looked through the files, these mutants are an older version of the ones from Armstalker, so yes, he just get his model hidden when there's an enemy nearby and does that to you, though I recall while testing the damage scripts, he would uncloak near you before attacking, and you'd have a small window to shoot him before or after he attacked you (I could be wrong since I haven't touched this since April 2021).
I remember seeing some behavior scripts that were in reference to that, I doubt I will be able to work on this again, but if I am I'll take a look at it.

That's also bound to happen to a mod that's been ripped over and over again with different versions floating around the workshop.
I also mainly ripped the mod and fixed it somewhat so I could use it in some Stalker SP missions I had been planning on making along with another mod I was making from scratch with working Stalker items n'such.

Experienced allot of CTD's when zeusing.
Understandable since it's ripped from ArmaStalker
