Description
EPILEPSY WARNING!

If you suffer from photosensitive epilepsy or any other type of epilepsy that may result in seizure due to flashing lights, images, etc. DO NOT play this map, you HAVE been warned. The map used to contain a lot of flickering lights, as of the Reviz Update I have removed all flickering white lights. In their place, I have added slow red strobe lights. These act as emergency lights. I am unsure if these lights will cause seizures due to epilepsy, so be careful.

About:
This is my first map for Garry's Mod, you can play it in the sandbox mode, but try to play through it first without loading up weapons and ammo, I placed weapons around the map for you. So, what is this map about? Well you play the role of a scientist who wakes up in a facility known as Facility 13. And surprise-surprise! Facility 13 is under attack!!! You were knocked unconscious and finally woke up in a supply closet. The alarm is on and something smells strange... You walk out of the closet and to your right is a crawling zombie, and to your left is a dead body. What happened? Find out and investigate the facility!

This is a relatively small map, once you kill all the zombies, you have completed the mission. There are NPCs around the map that you can help. Some may die before you get to them.

Requirements:
  • Garry's Mod

You do not need any other Source Engine-based game to play this map.

NEWS:
I have updated the map quite a bit, and a lot of things have changed. I have added ground nodes for the AI changed the lighting. For a full list of changes be sure to check the change log.

As far as I know yes, because it was made in the hammer with settings set for gmod.

when i downloaded this my playermodels started spazzing out and a popup saying error appeared and it asked for my email. Strange, isnt it?

@alwayscore Hmm never read about SCP-1730, I will quickly search it up on the SCP Wiki. My Answer: No, it wasn't based on SCP-1730, although I do see why one would think that. I based this map heavily on the influences of Mission 02 from Alien Shooter 2: Reloaded along with a couple other influences such as Portal and Portal 2 and that classic cliche scifi idea of a secret facility where everything goes to sh*t real quick. I also wanted to practice environmental story telling with level design since at the time I was getting into game development stuff.
