Destroyer Nuclear Drone - Expendable 1.6 kt x 50 Nuclear Machine Gun Platform

Lighter and cheaper than a stock Devastator, small formations of this drone are able to pepper enemy capitol fleets with enough nuclear warheads to have a good chance of landing one in a hole in the armor made by direct hits from others, blasting capitol ships apart entirely.Nuclear shells, yield 1.6 kt, are armored against point defense and volume of fire should be sufficient to overwhelm even advanced defense systems. For good effectiveness, override maximum range and send them in formation with a missile fleet or use in formation with a capitol fleet. Armor is primitive, so making and sharing improvements yourself is encouraged.
There's some game trickery involved in how this is as effective as it is. A main advantage over missiles is that guns don't get distracted by decoys. Laser point defense gets distracted by the shells and doesn't go after the source. The drones are highly vulnerable to being intercepted by flak missiles and the AI does not fully exploit this.
