The Continental United States - East to West

Description
What is now The United States of America was left untouched while humanity overseas advanced. However, as time passed, millions would flock to the new world. Even though the east coast of North America was growing fast, the west was sparsely populated. That was until the railroad met this vast landscape.

This layout takes place long after the frontier to the west, somewhere in between the 40’s to 60’s. Even though many regions are settled, every state is plenty wild. There are five fictional states to explore along the route. These include Intrepid, Columbus, Victoria, Eau Fraiche, and New Dade. Each one is meant to mimic numerous states across America.

Even though this route is loosely based in the 20th century, diesel electric would fit the route well. I’ve included four steam consists just for scenery. I also included some VR scenic spots along the layout. You can find them where there’s a brown chair. These are there so I can watch trains in a set spot while in virtual reality.

Be sure to check out my other layouts!

The scenery here is phenomenal; especially the starting point of Primes Creek! That depth of field you created with the mountains wowed me.
