Description
A3E: KAT Medical RW Airway Extension

This mod adds the ability for a player to use a stethoscope to diagnose a tension pneumothorax and a hemopneumothorax. The player does this by clicking on "Auscultate Lung Sounds". This will play 2 sounds, one for left lung and one for right lung.

FEATURES

- Adds usable stethoscope

HOW IT WORKS

- To use this mod open the arsenal and add select your backpack or vest

- Under misc items find the stethoscope and add one to your inventory

- Open the medical menu and click on the chest and click on the airway category

- Then click "Auscultate Lung Sounds" and listen:

One of the sounds will always be clear

If one of the 2 sounds has crackles the player has a hemopneumothorax

If one of the 2 sounds has short breaths the player has a tension pneumothorax

Hey is there a chest seal or intubation equipment included in this mod? Or how am I going to fix either of those injuries?

This seems like a nice addition to the medical system (albeit mostly cosmetic)! However, it seems to close the ACE medical menu after you are done using the stethoscope, so you will have to open it again before you are able to start/continue treatment.
