Volkmar - High Priest of Sigmar

Description
DESCRIPTION
I always wondered why all Arch Lectors and Warrior Priests are heavily armoured but Volkmar decided to wear his most formal dress instead. Additionally, I noticed that his vanilla model has an animation bug. So, I decided to give him an overhaul.



FEATURES
  • completely new look
  • a new unit card/porthole
  • increased armour from 50 to 80 for the foot version to match the look



COMPATIBILITY
This mod is save game compatible. There should be no compatibility issues, unless you use another mod that alters the appearance of Volkmar. This mod edits the ‘land_units_tables’, which means that other mods that change his stats like HP, melee attack or melee defence are also not compatible.

I started modding because I wanted to implement my own ideas. But modding for Total War Warhammer is not very user-friendly and takes a lot of time. So, if you should decide that you enjoy one of my mods so much that you want to give something back I am always happy about a donation!

@FilipGeorg95: To be honest, modding is a rather tedious and time-consuming work while also being quite unrewarding for the modders themselves. I am sorry but I will not spend the time to port this mod to TW W3.

Mr Frob, can you please if you have time port this amazing reskin to game 3 ? Theres currently no good quality Volkmar reskins :(( and its sad to play him with vanilla design

@Rooty Tooty: Many people already requested me to port some of my mods. Though, I don't think I will port this one here. I am not satisfied with it myself anymore and I hate playing the Empire. :/

but in truth warrior priest don't wear helmets cuz its interfiring with their prayers and communicating with sigmar.

hello, Volkmar looks good in that helmet, can you make a reskin for the Warrior priest and Arch Lecture with a helmet too?

Because it makes non-sense those guys wear full-plate armor and spare their most important part of the their body, the heads XD

@Dohnadohna: Actually, I've thought about making a reskin for Karl Franz multiple times back then. But since 80 % of the empire troops look like sh*t I am not very interested in this faction and have actually no real ideas for Karl Franz... :/
