Hulk Hogan (2000)

Hulk Hogan was at odds with booker Vince Russo in WCW in 1999, leading to his absence from WCW TV for several months.

Hogan returned in 2000 and feuded with Billy Kidman before facing Jeff Jarrett for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship at Bash at the Beach. To start the match, Jarrett laid down in the ring for Hogan while Russo threw the title at Hogan, who backstage, had wanted to go over while Russo wanted Jarrett to retain. Hogan took the belt after pinning Jarrett and left the arena after berating Russo. Later that night, Jarrett and Booker T fought for a new WCW World Heavyweight Championship, and Hogan left WCW.
