Description
Presenting the KM4340
A derivative of its larger sibling, the KM6360, the KM4340 was born from the lack of a compact, yet powerful package that could fit into the likes of small tugboats, workboats and other roles where good fuel economy, reliable power delivery and low maintenance is often not only wished for, but a given. The new KM4340 - the new workhorse of your fleet.

Technical Specifications
Engine type: Twin turbo diesel I4
Measurements (including sub-systems): 5.50x2.25x3.25m (length, width, height)
Weight: 1785kg
Price: $32436

Set-up
  • Load your own vehicle. Use the grid selection tool to load and paste in the engine. Merge the engine with your vehicle.
  • Connect exhaust (dark grey port on top), fuel (blue pipe on top), coolant (directly to sea, found underneath) and move the throttle where you want it. Last but not least, remember to hook up and adjust the gearbox. I recommend running it at as high of a ratio as possible for optimal fuel efficiency.
  • Start the engine by turning the key and then holding the ignition button until the red indicator light goes out and the engine is running on its own.

A huge thanks to WH1T3_No1SE for letting me use his modular engine microcontroller <3

The air on this engine is taken from the engine room. This does mean that you will need to pump air into the engine room to keep the engine running. Alternatively, you can remove the air filters and connect up the air there.

Can I post a vehicle to the workshop using some of ur engines

No point in using several. What's more relevant is the output of the generator itself. Should be somewhere around 800 or so iirc, but you'll have to measure that yourself. Mess around with the gearing to optimize it. With a supercharger I've pushed over 1200 swatts out of this engine.
