The Dirac Scourge

Made for the April 2021 Modjam. Very loosely based off the "organic" theme.

This mod is optimized for 90 TPS, so TPS settings too much higher/lower may break.

Pouring through rifts created by previous visitors , the Dirac Sourge hail from a higher dimension. Their behavior is slow and calculated, and they seem to be looking for something.
The Dirac Scourge are slow, powerful hunters that drag prey into their "Dirac Fields," regions of liquefied spacetime that slow anything within to a halt. Don't get close - being trapped within one of these fields is a death sentence.
They are an unplayable boss faction that serves as an endgame challenge for large fleets. I will add more to them as time passes, I just wanted to get them out before the jam's "deadline"
