PavZ is PVE zombie survival. A custom gamemode on a purpose built level. There are no rules. Forge your own way through the zombie apocalypse at any cost. But look out for other players that may have their own plans against you.

You spawn inside towns that zombies usually avoid. You will be naked, only holding a sawed-off shotgun. You can make friends or begin looking for better weapons and armor by looting crates scattered inside and around buildings. When you feel confident enough to take on the zombie horde, venture out into the wasteland on foot or by ATV. Outside of towns you'll find better loot in barrels and even better loot in military crates. Or just take everything you want from other players that did the work for you. Every zombie kill counts as a point (seen on your ingame scoreboard as your score). If you die, you lose your points. If you kill another player, you take theirs. Try to earn some very tacti-cool weapon upgrades by calling in a contestable airdrop event by using a payphone located inside any town when you have 200 points. Leave your mark on the PavZ Leaderboard by staying on top of the food chain for as long as you can.

• Tier 1: Wooden crates. These are most abundant inside towns. These contain all the items you need to start making moves against the undead and if you're skilled enough, maybe other players.
  
  
• Tier 2: Metal drums. You will need to move out of the relative safety towns provide to find these. Search along treacherous roads for loot you will need to get ahead of the curve.
  
  
• Tier 3: Military crates. Highly sought after and hard to find. In these you will find what you need to dominate anything that moves.
  
  
• Air drop: When you have at least 200 points, use any payphone located within any town and reap your reward after it falls from the sky. Players that successfully contend for this special crate can loot it twice for two very *tacti-cool* weapons. You may call in another when the current air drop has been looted.
