Description
I'm pretty bad at planes, and I know that the normal AI isn't competitive in dog fighting, so here's my attempt.

The TAF-2 C1 Aileron is the second generation of my (recent) fighter crafts and is built to fit the role of a general fighter jet.

It's aimed at inexpensive performance over anything else and is will rapidly burn through materials and energy to achieve this goal.

The Aileron is amred with 8 small AA missiles and a frontal particle cannon. The missiles are an adapted version of the ones I used in the SAM system on the Urd.

Defense wise, the Aileron has very little, it has almost no armor and has only chaff, flares, radar decoys and a few small interceptors for defense.

As I said, I'm terrible with fighters so feel free to let me know everything I did wrong and what I can improve on. Design wise I used to be a very avid simple planes builder and have taken some of the strategies I learned playing that to try to make a decent looking small fighter.

If anyone is interested in submitting a vehicle or structure or building something for my faction please let me know, I'll also gladly take suggestions for ships to use as references or ideas for crafts that would fit in with the rest of the faction. If anyone wants any additional information about the faction or campaign, feel free to message me or comment.

I'm also looking for people to help test out the ships already designed and to provide feedback on potential changes and suggestions along with issues with ships. (on older ships, if steam engines don't work, just message me and I'll update the file)

To pile on even more information, if anyone has any ideas about how to get more submissions or get more community involvement in the campaign, let me know.

As always, feel free to critique or comment on the plane or ask any questions below.

I hope you enjoy the plane!
