Handgunner Variants

Description
Adds 2 new units:
- Handgunners (Grenade Launchers)
- Handgunners (Repeater Rifles)

This mod is intended to provide the empire with some more ranged options late game. I only changed the weapon type to keep it as vanilla as possible. Both variants have lower range than their vanilla counterpart to compensate for their increased damage. They're also a bit more expensive.

Both variants are unlocked at the gunsmith chain (repeaters tier 3, grenade launchers tier 4).

Fully affected by all skills and technologies focused around handgunners.

Check out this mod for additional dwarf ranged options.

Should be compatible with most other mods.

Can we get this for WH3? there's one that adds 7 and it's a bit too much.

I don't have much time for modding but I would recommend my other mod More Unique Elector Units. It has repeaters, long rifles and grenade launchers however they're limited because of the elector count mechanic.

Can you make a long rifle version pls ? they were in the army book with the repeater gunners
