QR CLC Louvered Wagon

Description
Between 1955 and 1956 Evans Deakin and Comeng would build forty of this all steel louvered boxcar for use by Queensland Rail, bearing the running numbers 30801 - 30841. Originally intended for fast mail and passenger services the short wheelbase and tall overall height made them unstable and after several derailments they were relegated to general freight duties and sent to the far north of Queensland, home of quite a bit of unloved rolling stock where they would continue in service into the eighties.

One fully repaintable 'Freight Grey' version, one in the original delivery brown and one in the 'Brisbane - Toowoomba Co-Ordinated' livery. Static versions for railyards and the like, custom sounds, aging, the usual stuff. Hopefully it fills the niche for some basic QR rolling stock, there will be more in the future.

Technical Specs:
Top Speed: 80km/h (50 mph)
Capacity: 10
Weight: 13 tons
Available from 1955 - 1991

Once again, thank you very much to everyone at https://www.transportfever.net/ who graciously put up with and answer my endless questions. Stay safe all, Cheers. :)

Curious, I've been trying to replicate that and I haven't been able to yet. The TGA textures have UNGODLY bad load times. I will be going back and changing them to DDS. Bear with me, I'll have it done when I can! :)

If you could create The Overland and other Australian long-haul
passenger wagons, that would be great.

if you're interested, I can give you the list.

Thanks,

Rod

The stainless ones from the spirit of the outback and Overlander I think it was? Sure, if I can find some decent line drawings I'll work on them when I release the English Electric 2350 I'm working on now. :)
