@AlphaStrik3 You may be able to fire from just beyond your target's firing range by manually firing the turret at a point above the target, however the artillery turret being upside down makes it inconvenient to manually operate, so I prefer to set it to target generators and/or turrets depending on the target, and just let it fire at will as I focus on firing the manual weapons and dodging incoming fire. The main advantage of having it upside down is to give it a bit more protection, improve visibility, and make an external cockpit possible.
