The FU-22 Law Enforcement Interceptor “Gerbil” is a cheap and lightweight interception craft for use by law enforcement personnel. It is fast and agile and features detainment facilities for two suspects. The FU-22 is armed with rapid firing laser cannons and a large beam cannon, while a reasonably robust shield improves craft survival chances during hostile encounters. Despite it's small size, the FU-22 is both lightcruise and warp capable, allowing pursuit of suspects outside of the ships base system. While suitable for general use in the civilian sector, the Fu-22 is no match for dedicated military vessels or larger pirate craft.
