[REC] Thunderstreak class fighter

Developed out of neccessity for a fighter that could fit in the hangar of most REC capital ships, the Thunderstreak class fighter began rapid development. Much smaller than it's larger counterparts it can fit inside the hangars of almost any REC capital ship, and achieve the similar goals. This however comes at the cost of range due to decreased fuel storage. This has effectively relegated the Thunderstreak to being used as a fleet defense or short-range fighter unlike other REC fighter craft such as the Comet class.

However combat tests proved that class was rather slow, and prove to mechanical issues, so it was eventually phased out by the Banshee class. A still few serve in secondary roles, but the class has largely been replaced.
