Cutting Beam

The T-99E SKIPJACK EV Pod is a variant of the popular T series, geared towards mining, drydock and salvage.

Powerful thrusters and extending push booms enable nimble reorientation of large mass, while an integrated cutting beam assists in shaving down asteroids and scrap to a manageable size.

Without life support or warp drives, the inexpensive and mass-produced T-99 has a limited range and is intended for use exclusively in a zero-G environment within operational limits of a carrier vessel or station.

While attempting unshielded reentry is not recommended under any circumstances, the Skipjack is robust enough to land on its struts and can operate within atmosphere.
