Eagle Ray - Planetary Interceptor

Description
BlueMilk Industries is proud to present the second ship in its lineup! The Eagle Ray – Planetary Interceptor is capable of both space and atmospheric combat.

ABOUT THE VESSEL

Due to an increase in violent attacks on exploration craft, BlueMilk Industries is answering the call for help by giving explorers the chance to arm and protect themselves.

Back on Earth, the eagle ray is known as a type of deep ocean sting ray which often travels far from shore. Their tails are equipped with a venomous, barbed stinger that can penetrate a predator’s flesh. Let it be known, you do not step on an Eagle Ray unless you want to get stung!

Similar to how a sting ray flies through the ocean, the Eagle Ray can fly into atmosphere for planetary missions. Its belly is covered entirely by a heat shield rated for 2,800 degrees Celsius. The hull is a lifting body which allows it to soar through the air with ease without stalling.
