O projeto de um veículo extremamente leve e que pode ser transportado por via aérea foi inspirado na idéia do Wiesel alemão que, na época, ainda não concluíu o seu desenvolvimento. Na metade dos anos 80, a ENGESA apresentou um veículo que tem como objetivo de ser utilizado em uma variedade de missões, com armas necessárias para cada missão. O veículo, com um peso padrão de 4,4 toneladas sem armas, pode receber configurado para diversas funções, como transporte de pessoal, Reconhecimento (armado com uma mtra. de 12.7mm), Ataque leve (Canhão de 20mm), Antiaérea e ataque (7.62mm), transporte de munição, comando, ambulância e porta morteiro de 120mm. tudo isso em um veículo extremamente pequeno e muito eficáz.

assim como o Wiesel alemão, este veículo, batisado de EE-T4 "Ogum", pode executar as missões anteriormente ditas e pode ser aerotransportado por via de aviões cargueiros e paraquedas, permitindo que unidades mecânizadas possam cumprir as suas missões com a ferramenta necessária.

Protótipos entraram em testes, e muitos dos resultados relacionado à sua mobilidade e modularidade foram excelentes, com o veículo tendo uma velocidade máxima de 75Km/h com um motor (QT 20 B4236) de quatro cilíndros de 130hp de potência e uma proteção que é capaz de resistir contra munição de 7.62x51mm AP.

Um Ogum foi apresentado para o Iraque, equipado com uma torre antiaérea, composto por duas metralhadoras de 7.62mm, na Exposição de produtos militares em Bagdá que iniciou em 1989. Quando a guerra do golfo começou em 1991, o veículo foi abandonado pelos representantes da ENGESA em Tikrit, e não havia noticias falando sobre esse veículo preso lá.

Nos anos 90, a ENGESA estava passando por uma crise financeira severa que, em 1993, faliu, devído à falta de vendas do EE-T1/T2 Osório, um veículo que, na época, era o mais avançado no mundo, porem que nunca serviu para nenhum país - até a sua própria terra natal, e isso se aplica no EE-T4 Ogum.

Casco: Setas para se mover, M para ativar o motor, O para ativar as luzes.

Torre: 0 para ativar a câmera, i e k para mirar verticalmente, J e L para mirar horizontalmente. P para disparar o armamento, - para travar a torre.

Fique ciente: Na variação anti-tanque, não há câmeras devido ao como os mísseis funcionam, não há travas na torre da variação de transporte e antiaérea, pois já se demonstraram muito estáveis.

Replicando o veículo como base foi um pouco complicado no sentido de tamanho e dimensão, mas não foi tão difícil assim. O que FOI difícil é interpretar e identificar as imagens que têm as variações que são os "fantasmas", ou seja, não havia fotos na vida real que apresenta o veículo com a torre de 20mm ou com os mísseis, apenas imagens ilustrativas, então eu foi forçado a implementar um pouco de criatividade, ao mesmo tempo em que torna o conjunto todo plausível.

E o morteiro de 120mm? Infelizmente, eu não pude fazer essa variação, pois não havia fotos, nem imagens ilustrativas para dar uma ideia de como o conjunto seria. Peço perdão por isso...

Mas, apesar da ausência da variação de 120mm, eu espero que tenha gostado.

The project of a extremely light vehicle that could be transported via air was inspired by the german Wiesel idea which, at that time, was not finished in it's development.
In the half of the 80's, ENGESA presented a vehicle that was made to be utilized in a variety of missions, with weapons necessary to each mission required. The vehicle, with it's standard weight of 4,4 tonnes without weapons, could be configured into multiple functions, as a APC, MEDEVAC, Ammo Transport, Anti Air (2x 7.62mm), Scout (12.7mm), Light Attack (20mm), 120mm Mortar Carrier, Command vehicle and Ambulance. All of that in a very small and capable vehicle.

Like the german Wiesel, this vehicle, Designated as EE-T4 "Ogum", could execute the missions mentioned before, and could be air transported via cargo planes and parachutes, allowing the mechanized units to fulfill their missions with the necessary tool.

Prototypes began testing, and a lot of these results related to it's mobility and modularity were excellent, with the vehicle having a maximum speed of 75km/h with a 130hp 4 cylinder engine (QT 20 B4236). The vehicle itself is capable of resisting projectiles up to 7.62x51mm AP.

A Ogum tankette was presented to Iraq, equipped with 2 7.62mm machine guns, at the military products exposition in Baghdad that started in 1989. When the golf war started in '91, the vehicle was abandoned by the ENGESA reps in Tikrit, and there was no news related to that vehicle that was stuck there.

In the 90's, ENGESA was going through a severe finantial crisis that, in 93, made ENGESA go bankrupty due to lack of sales of the EE-T1/T2 Osório MBT, a vehicle that was the most advanced tank in the world, but it never served any country, not even it's own homeland, and this applied to the EE-T4 Ogum.

Replicating the base vehicle was a bit complicated in the sense of size and dimentions, but it was not all that hard. What WAS hard was interpreting and identifying the images that has the variants that were "ghosts, I.e. there was no real life photos that presented the vehicle with a 20mm or with the AT missiles, only illustrative images, so i was forced to be a bit creative, whilst making it plausible.

What about the 120mm mortar? Unfortunately, i was not able to replicate that one, since there was no photos, not even illustrative images to give the idea of how the entire thing would be. I apologise for that...
but aside from that, i hope you liked it.

*Controls*

Hull: Arrow keys to move, M to activate the engine, O to activate the lights.

Turret: 0 to activate the camera, i and k to aim vertically, j and l to aim horizontally. P to fire the armament, - to lock the turret.

Be aware: The anti-tank variant has no cameras due to how the missiles works, there are no locks on the APC and the Anti Air variants, since they are already quite stable.
