[SR] Scimitar-Class Destroyer Leader

Regardless of how advanced or powerful a nations navy may be, there is always a ship or two from a era long past that have remained in service. The Scimitar is one such vessel, the design of this ship over a lifetime of age and no longer being churned out of SR naval yards as newer vessels have been built to replace them. However, modernized with new shields, weapons, and power generation these ships have continued to prove themselves in combat. As the name suggests, these vessels serve as the flagship for destroyer fleets thanks to their abnormal size that would easily allow it to be mistaken for a light cruiser.
