Description
Welcome to phys_house_medium, a house that can be destroyed almost entirely and has cool dynamic lighting effects.

This map runs slow!
There is a built-in room dedicated to improving performance, all you have to do is noclip (X) below the map. You should see an orange box. Enter it.
Want help here? No problem.

Easily the biggest performance boost is disabling dynamic lights using the button in the performance room. Should bring performance more in-line with the other maps.
However, if, like me, you find these too cool to remove and only need 10-20 FPS, try these:
Disable the background (neighborhood/skybox out of bounds) using these commands in the console:
sv_cheats 1 r_3dsky 0
This will disable achievements for this session, unfortunately

Next you can try lowering shadow detail in advanced video. This disables the shadows caused by dynamic lights.

Not mine but someone made a really cool version of the original destructible house map (the one from 2012) and you can tear down the whole thing, frame and all

I'm guessing it's a mod you have installed, because I didn't put anything like that in.

I was destroying the house when I look over to where I spawned and I saw a green man I got scared so I left and joined back and it was gone but besides that great map.

Large version? You want me to open up the skybox so there's more houses? I don't think GMod can handle more than one destructible house! That said, you're welcome to try it, check the link in the description for the VMF, which will allow you to edit the map to be your own, though that could be fairly difficult.

I actually used a computer with no games mounted into GMod to check for missing textures, so they should all be available with just gmod. Strange to hear that. If you want, you can try uninstalling the game and redownloading it, but getting all your addons back will take awhile.
