The sp-1 B3Tc is an advanced combat drone with high firepower thanks to its standard coilgun and single-shot raigun. Despite being a combat drone, it is very versatile, as it has loot-focused loading functions, consisting of a box rack, a gauss ammunition rack and a railgun cartridge rack at the rear of the drone.

An important point of the drone is that it is not completely indestructible unlike other drones of this style, it needs partial maintenance, as both the battery and the water pump deteriorate and are accessible from the dock.

indicators.
  • left top screen= waypoint distance.
  • left bottom screen: current mode.
  • mid top light: write/delete waypoint.
  • mid bottom light:newpath mode on/off.
  • right top light: save indicator.
  • right bottom arrows: forward/backward route.
  • right bottom screen:distance to next/previus wp

Command guide.

This drone has a total of 18 commands that you can send via radio channel 0.
There are two types of instructions, those starting with $ which are movement related and incompatible with each other, i.e. when you activate one, the rest will be deactivated, and those starting with # which are compatible with the commands starting with $ and do not necessarily imply that they deactivate the rest of the functions activated with #. Below is the list of instructions with their explanation.
(examples in third video)

  • $periscope: enable periscope control mode, this is the default mode.

  • $terminal: enables terminal control.

  • $follow: enables human tracking.

  • $stop: makes the drone maintain position without terminal.

  • $fosub: makes the drone follow the sub.

  • $autodock: activates the automatic docking function, once activated the drone will go towards the submarine and (if correctly configured) will go around the submarine and automatically go to it's corresponding docking port.
    docking port.

  • #off: turn off the drone.

  • #on: turn the drone on.

  • #dock:toggles the docking state.

Now come a series of instructions that control one of the most particular functions of this drone, the waypoints. It's able to write remember and traverse in natural or reverse order or in a cyclic fashion routes set by the player.

  • #newpath: This command activates the creation of waypoints, as long as it is active it will create waypoints according to the distance set by the #wpdistance command. If used a second time, it will stop setting waypoints. The route is saved in ram, this means that once travelled it will be deleted.

  • #wpdistance(#wpdistance:distance)sets the distance between which each waypoint is created.

  • #saver: save ram path to main memory. If #newpath mode is enabled it will disable it.

  • #reset: puts the path saved in memory into ram, which makes it possible to traverse it.

  • #delete: delete the rute in ram.

  • #forward:toggles the path order to the natural order in which it was created.

  • #backward:Switches the path order of the route to the reverse order in which it was created.

  • $singler: causes the order to traverse the path only once in the order it is set.
    (disable #newpath before use).

  • $cicler: loop the path stored in memory back and forth in a cyclic fashion.
    (disable #newpath before use).
Installation.

If you want to have an autodock function that dodges the submarine you will have to configure a series of wifi components around the submarine, they are stored under the name "sp-1 autodock deviation".
You have to look where do you want your drone to go, and when you have decided it, just write the deviation in x and y with respect to the center of your submarine.
(example in last video)

Wifi channels:
  • Main terminal:
    x:105
    y:106
    berthing: 107
    transducer:108

  • periscope:
    trigger:700
    position:701

  • Submarine position:
    x:110
    y:109

  • autodock deviation:
    x:111
    y:102

  • weapons:
    trigger:113
    position:114
    switch between coil/rail:115

  • Follow deviation:
    x:116
    y:117

  • docking port deviation:
    x:118
    y:119
  • Submarine speed:
    x:120
    y:121

Hey there, I've fallen in love with this drone and am wondering if I can have permission to use a modified version of it in my own workshop sub I'm working on.

got one similar already done

Hello, I love what you have done here. I am wondering if it is possible to make a drone that simply undocks via button and tracks monsters with the ability to explode on proximity.

thanks!
