Update of Wuergers mod

This mod provides an additional way to fortify your Frontline with new bunker structures:

General:

- This should be fully compatible with [1.0] savegames
- You need to do research in order to get these structures.
- The bunkerroof is not a real roof as of terms of game mechanics, you still will have to build a room like in vanilla

Structures:

Bunker wall:
Slope walls are the foundation of your bunker. Needs A LOT of resources to build but can withstand even the hardest bombardement. Bombs harm it more than ordinary bullets. Takes a lot of time to be set up.

Bunker embrasure:
Waist high walls grant your pawns a spot to use their own arms in combat and also provides some cover (70%) . Also in contrast to the ordinary sanbags, enemys can't climp over these structures. Bombs harm it more than ordinary bullets. Takes a lot of time to be set up.

Bunker door:
A heavy door granting passage inside the bunker. It can only be opened manually. Holds of fire for a long time, but costs a lot of resources. Bombs harm it more than ordinary bullets. Takes a lot of time to be set up.

Bunkerroof:
A semi transparent roofing. Comes in the sizes 5x5 and 3x3. [notification: More sizes MIGHT come on demand, maybe start a discussion here.] Does not hold a roof by itself, it needs surroundings. Takes a lot of time to be set up.

Machine Guns:

MG 08/15:
A build in "Light"-Machine-Gun from the great war. Stats:
- Range: 30
- Damage: 8
- Accuracy: long 60 - medium 70 - short 80 - touch 30
- Shots fired in one burst: 12
- Rate of fire: 0.15 sec per shot
- Reload time: 4 secs (aka cooldown)
- Magazine size: 60 rounds

MG 34:
A build in "Medium"-Machine-Gun. Stats:
- Range: 30
- Damage: 10
- Accuracy: long 60 - medium 70 - short 80 - touch 30
- Shots fired in one burst: 12
- Rate of fire: 0.083 sec per shot
- Reload time: 4 secs (aka cooldown)
- Magazine size: 60 rounds

MG 42:
A build in "Heavy"-Machine-Gun. Stats:
- Range: 30
- Damage: 10
- Accuracy: long 50 - medium 65 - short 80 - touch 30
- Shots fired in one burst: 18
- Rate of fire: 0.03 sec per shot
- Reload time: 2 secs (aka cooldown)
- Magazine size: 90 rounds

I did it!
With the help of the Craftable mountain mod
Build a bunker, then build a thin mountain roof on top. And voila.
I tested it with a radiation test. I locked a 10x10 character in a bunker with food. All the animals around died out.
The character remained alive. When the radiation was over, for the sake of the experiment, I built another house, went out of the bunker, and a day later he got radiation sickness.
I also need to check with the abmrazura :)

Yes, the roof not transparent either.

Could the roof of a bunker have the properties of a mountain roof? It would be cool and protect against mortars.

I agree with the filter system regarding radiation. But if you make two walls with a passage, then I would really like the bunker door/walls to work as a filter ;)

This is how I build my bunker for a rainy day.

The outer wall is a wall with embrasures behind it, and a solid wall for retreat and regrouping.
Several times the whole base was taken out except for the bunker, and it was cool.

I really like the concept and the textures.

I would also like to integrate the remote door and embrasure mode - it would be cool to control them from the inside.

If the embrasures can close, my dream will come true.

If bunker sealed it can be radioactively protected. Above or below ground. All depends how built and what made out of and if sealed with filtered or enclosed air system.

Even in real life, bunkers dont magically protect you from Radiation. Radioactive particles still mix with dust, and unless your air is filtered in the bunker, its gonna be radioactive as well. Plus this is a bunker over ground, not underground. You wont magically be protected from Nuclear anything.

Hey for some reason when I build the bunker roof (both the 5x5 and 3x3), its not transparent at all, is that a bug?

Have not played in long time. But seeing my old favorite mods been updated... making me want to return :-) I also thank you for updating them.

Ships has the voidmetal roof stuff that alters roofing. Might be able to reference something like that for altering roofing options of this mod? Might be wildly irrelevant and inaccurate. Neat mod. updating all these old mods is a godsend for me. I came over from console once it looked like there wasn't going to be any updates. You. Are. Awesome. Mlie!

i can confirm the "radiation event" is from rimatomics, when you launch a nuke near your settlement with HIGH yield on, the event will not happen with low yield active
