1950s Stalinka

Description
This mod proposes a 1950s Stalinka, like can be found along major avenues of Moscow or Leningrad. This one in particular is modeled on the building of Moskovsky Prospekt, 189, Leningrad.

The main buildling is residential, somewhat high end, and hence can host 200 adults at 93pc quality (I thought no more as it's still from an older time, compared to late soviet architecture). Its higher cost is simulated by the inclusion of mechanical components (which we can pretend are needed for the elevators).

In the coming days I will add shop 'add-ons' to this mod, so that you can make use of the modeled shops in the ground floor. The items themselves will simply consist of a shop sign, a pedestrian access for the customers, and the unavoidable road access for goods deliveries (which will probably be located either on the sides or on the back of the building).

-- First shop added. It's a grocery shop for the central section of the building. See photos for placement and selection.
To be built it require a small amount of steel, boards, and mech. comps (shelves, fridges, etc), and unfortunately a small amount of concrete and gravel, as otherwise the game doesn't allow it to be built.
As we all know the game doesn't allow delivery of goods to shops without a road connection, so this shop has its road connection in the back side (where the 'delivery' sign of the shop is). The same sign is also the only place where you can select the shop by hovering your cursor over it (the shop's signs in the front are not protruding enough for selection, so I had to make something up).
-- Added a bookstore that serves as cultural attraction. For placement use again the poster as reference. Also, hover the mouse in front of it when you need to select it. It can be placed on other side shop entrance of the building.

-- Added a 'pharmacy' (works like a small clinic without ambulances). Same instructions of selection and placement as before.

-- Added a pub. It's placable on the right shop entrance when you face the building, so that its delivery access can be on the side of it.

-- Added a shoe (clothes) store. Placement must be done according to same instructions as the pub but on the other side of the building. The store is set to sell clothes *only*, thanks to a scripting trick, let me know if you notice something funky.
This should be the last addition for this mod.

Ok, after the popular success I added one last item, a post office (as a city hall).

it's more like a work-around than an actual feature of the game, thanks to the ability of making buildings collisionless. It's a bit tricky in practice though, but you can see the instructions in the description and pics.

Hmmm, there shouldn't be any dependency issue, as there is none. Are you sure you're selecting the residential building? Because it's the only actual residential building in the pack, the others (shops, services, etc) are indeed meant to be "attached" on the main building, and so they have no walls or other structure themselves, only the shop signs and posters meant to appear as part of the initial building when placed carefully.

When I try to place the building, it's invisible. Did I forget to subscribe to a dependency?

Hmmm, this came out much before the secret police update, so I wouldn't have imagined it back then. But I guess now that you suggested it, it's not a bad idea.
I might look into it sometime in the future, as rn I'm another thing, that might be time-sensitive.

Very cool mod, adds so much character to my cities! One suggestion would be what if there was a variant to the post office that instead acted like a secret police for that building only? (Implication being the post office is a front for the secret police reading everyone's mail in the building). Could be useful to house high educated folks here slated as teachers and bureaucrats and keep that extra eye on them! Just an idea, either way love the work!

спасибо, я исследовал некоторые из этих районов. Там сталинки обычно супер монументальные, я имею в виду несколько, над которыми, возможно, я смогу поработать, но это займет у меня огромное количество времени, и это еще не запланировано.
Но посмотрим, если город Москва или кто-то там у власти захочет платить мне за это зарплату, я мог бы сосредоточиться на этом полный рабочий день :P
