Try to verify the game by:

Go into the left tab of Steam Library.
Left-click on Medieval Dynasty, Properties.

Go to the Local Files tab.
"Verify Integrity of Game Files".

Then try again, wait for a minute. Like 1-5mins.

If it does not start to open the Task Manager.

Hold "Left Ctrl+Left Shift+ESC". Check if Medieval Dynasty status is not responding.
If it does, click on it, and "End Task" in the bottom right corner.

Try again to verify it.
This time, double-check your Graphics card driver, make sure that you install the latest driver.


Run Windows update just in case.

Go to NVIDIA GeForce Experience, then try to scan games then optimized it.
Try to open the game again, see if that works.

If not, go to NVIDIA Control Panel->Manage 3D settings.
Global Settings tab:
Power management mode: Optimal power.

Program Settings tab:
Power management mode: Use global setting (Optimal power)
Try to open the game again.

I would say check the back of your PC to see if the monitor cable is plug into the GPU not the internal graphic from the mobo (motherboard).
But this is very unlikely. Just in case, check it anyway.

If still not working, maybe go to the M.D. forum to ask for an assist from the community.

My personal recommendation of SSD for games is Samsung EVO or Pro lineup (1TB or more), not QVO or less.

It is expensive, why?
If you want to invest more for your money for the long term.
You are paying a premium for durability. Which content creators can appreciate.
I know this is not for the content creator, it's for games.
Still, if you planning to store multiple games, and not concern yourself with the loss of game files. More of peace of mind.
Honestly, this is just my personal opinion, based on my personal experience. I just sharing.

Update Windows 10 issue:
1. Using Windows Update stuck at 61% for more than 3 hours.

Apps causing it: Sennheiser Audio, Conexant HD Audio, and Conexant Smartaudio HD.

Possible solution:
Cancel if there is any update still pending, and wait if you are using the Media Creation Tool. If take too long to wait, just restart the computer.
Otherwise, just restart the computer for other methods, then uninstall the Sennheiser Audio from the App. Restart the computer again.
Then run the update again. Restart the computer again, just in case.

Note:
The Windows 10 v20H2 upgrade with an SSD will take about 50 minutes to an hour.
If HDD probably takes longer. Just be patient.
Also, once it was ready to upgrade, it should notify you to restart, anything you do might get frozen from here on, so do take precautions until you restart if you are using Windows Update to upgrade.

Once your Windows has upgraded, then reinstall the driver if needed.

Option 1: Set the setting manually.
