Select a groove at the start of the match from multiple sources of Platform Fighters similar to the likes of Capcom vs SNK 2.

GROOVES AVAILABLE
D-Groove: Rivals
Don't want to stray too far away from the original version of the game? D-Groove is a safe place and doesn't change anything!

B-Groove: BrawlHalla

Gives you access to Gravity Cancels and attacks sliding off the ledge, allowing for more aggressive offstage picks.
You can perform a Gravity Cancel by airdodging in place and performing an attack.

L-Groove: Slap City

Allows you to wavebounce/turn around all of your specials with a quick press of the taunt button. Gives you an aerial strong, can be ignored if holding shield/taunt in mid-air.

M-Groove: Slayers for Hire

Airdodges are replaced with Airdashes. Doing nothing during your airdash will halt your horizontal momentum, useful for mixing up your timings. Rolls cover a shorter distance, but keep you facing the same way.

V-Groove: Rushdown Revolt

Airdodges are replaced with Airdashes. Lose access to all of your strongs, but gain access to Spark! On hit you will gain a charge of spark, allowing you to cancel any attack with the press of dodge.

E-Groove: Earth Romancer

Dashing and Jumping allows you to go through projectiles. Airdodge is replaced with an air action. (default shorthop)

H-Groove: Smash 64

Lose the use of your F-Special. Both you and your opponent are affected by low hitstun gravity and extended hitstun! Be careful as you may just lose your stock in an instant.

N-Groove: Smash 4

Airdodge will keep your momentum and can be used multiple times mid-air. Rage and reduced Dash-Dancing and no WaveDashing. How Sakurai wanted you to play.

This mod is so outdated now. It may need a total recoding, along with adding more Grooves like the ones that behaves like Smack Studio.

Oh, 1 last thing, the Smash 64 H-Groove in Practice Mode doesn't mention that you can't airdodge at all, other than those little silly nitpicks, great buddy! I can also just use it as an announcer, thank you dude man.

Also it's funny that with the M-Groove it basically just reverses all the Rolls, because with Forward Roll you still face forward, while with Back-Roll you face backwards (from where you started) and it's basically impossible to input a frame perfect back-roll to actually still face forward from where you started lol.
Wait actually, nvm if you run and do a Back-Roll you can still face the same direction, altho it's pretty useless imho.

I also tried with a different character (King Knight) and got the same result, just a chargeable f-tilt in the air.

Actually nvm, only F-Tilt was available as a "Strong", trying to go for Up-Smash did F-Tilt, and Down-Smash also just did F-Tilt.

I think the Slap City L-Groove is bugged, I was using Cat Guard in Practice Mode and aerial Strongs weren't working he just did aerial tilts instead, I could still use normal aerials with the right stick, but pressing the Strong button just made him do aerial tilts when in the air (and charge them too lol).

Can You make brawlhalla chasedodges? I play brawl all the time the gravity cancels are cool but chase dodging is easier and better.

E groove has a glitch. If u use shorthop with characters with absa-style Djumps (eg absa (O B V I O U S L Y), viselle, darc sharc, otto (no bike), etc), itll just L A U N C H u high up.
