Description
NOTICE: Units colour schemes are going to change a little depending on which Greenskin faction they are fighting for.

This mod adds new spider themed units for the Greenskins roster, respectively:
-Giant Spider Bruisers
-Arachnarok Younglings
-Arachnarok Tyrant
-Brood Queen; campaign cap set at 1

You will be able to recruit these units from the Forest Beasts building chain and from the special building chain in Mount Arachnos, notice that The Brood Queen Is exclusive to the latter.
With this, Mount Arachnos will become more lively and you'll have more reasons to conquer It!

The Brood Queen features the custom ability Call Of The Broods, which Is a modified version of The Arachnarok Queen's Maternal Instinct ability.
It does the following:
Type: Augment
Target: Ground, 60m
Uses: 4 Per battle
Cooldown: 70 Seconds
Summons a unit of Broodlings

Broodlings are a slightly stronger version of Hatchlings.

Ok, presentation over: let's dive into the technical stuff!

*BALANCE*

As always: I tried my best to not make them too broken.
Keep in mind that I have tested them in custom battles only though.
That means that I'm not taking into account Lord's Campaign Bonuses.
These units don't have scrap upgrades support at the moment.
If you have suggestions for possible buffs or nerfs let me know down in the comment section!
I'm open to changes!
NOTICE: The units' stats screenshot was taken with the unit size setting set to large, so expect more HP and unit models if you are playing on Ultra.

*COMPATIBILITY*

As far as I know this mod works with pretty much everything that do not mess too much with vanilla units.
I'm playing the game with 100+ different mods and everything is working fine!
The mod is NOT save compatible.
If you want these Lovely Spiders in your campaign you'll have to start a new one.

*KNOWN ISSUES*

-Like the Giant Spider vanilla units these Spiders (especially the bigger ones) tend to struggle a little with pathfinding and movements/attacks sadly It's not something that I can fix.
-Due to a large HP pool, high armour and size the AI tend to struggle a little against the Brood Queen.
Her offensive power Is very limited if compared to other Arachnarok units though, and I can assure you that she Is not Op since I managed to defeat her and an army of these custom units with a pretty standard Dwarf army.
When facing her my advice Is to focus on the enemy army and then isolate and overwhelm her, you'll eventually manage to kill or rout her.

*UPDATES POLICY*

Let me be straight with you...when the mod status change from updated to outdated....if you start to spam in the comment section things like "update pls, OMG UPDATE, can we have an update my good sir?, UpDaTe!1!1!1" and similar stuff....know that https://media.giphy.com/media/e3URFlLQywEPC/giphy.gif


...But jokes aside: please don't do that.
When it becomes necessary, and when I can, I will update my stuff, do not worry.

No, I don't have any experience in startposing nor interest in doing such a thing.
But if you do have experience with this and want to make a mod like that and integrate these units in the custom faction roster go ahead, you have my permission to do so.
Just credit me and we are cool!
And erase my custom indexes from your brain, of course.

I have officially concluded my modding journey on this workshop.

I'm eventually going to make another attempt in future and try to make another version of this mod for Mixu's unlocker only and see how It goes.

Hey zerg93, If you want your building to show up at the black pit, you will need to give it a slot_template but vanilla warhammer doesn't have an id for that settlement if I remember correctly. So you will need to use an id from a startpos mod like Mixus but that also means your mod will need mixu's unlocker enabled to have the building appear in the Black Pit. Message me on discord or add me on Steam if that doesn't work

So yeah, I think I'm throwing the towel for today.
If anyone stumbling upon this knows about a mod who has successfully implemented a custom building in the Black Pit settlement please let me know, thanks.

-I then tried to make a unique custom building and attach It to We'z Speshul's custom Black Pit tribe forcing said custom building to be built in their capital only, sadly It didn't work either.
I double checked Cryswar's guide on buildings and followed all the steps but my custom building just refuse to load at all, which Is kinda odd since back then I made some custom buildings for another mod of mine and following the same guide I had no problem whatsoever...honestly I have no clue.

Damn that sucks; But alright! Really wish CA then would add a special building for Black pit though then, given how important of a location it is in the Drakwald.

@Haunter Ok, so here's what I found out so far:
-I can't find specific codes because Black Pit Is treated as a generic Orc settlement without special or unique buildings which Is a problem because I need a unique building to tie the Brood Queen, otherwise she would be available for all of the Greenskin factions who have access to the common building, example: Sacred Spider Groundz tier 3 that can be built everywhere.

Hey man i really love the mod; But a suggestion i also have is that Brood Queens could be recruited in Black Pit too, given it is sacred ground to the Forest goblins who give praise to the spider god, and Giant Arachnarok spiders & Brood Queens make their dens & Breed there.

It would really make sense lorewise and a lot of people into the lore happy if this comes about
