Description
The Narwhal

The Narwhal was an early Europa dream. Colonial expansion into the depths with a small fleet of these multihulled subs. They were built with robust engineering to try and prepare for whatever might be encountered. Set backs getting the power systems operational coupled with politics of the ECS shipyards killed the project after only a handful of the 40 plus intended fleet was built. While the project never reached its culmination, some kinks never worked out, the Narwhal is still a beast to use.

I made this for my friends and i to use so there isn't any security on the doors. Design intent was something that would be reliable and easy to use for a group. let me know if there is anything that bugs you.
*shuttle will need to be turned on to drain the water if it gets flooded after an attack
**Some notes if bots are acting strange,
-on the bridge its probably because they want to fix the window behind the shutter
-might need to do repairs around the shuttle and airlock yourself (ill try a few more setups of waypoints, but i
just dont think the logic will ever work)
***Forgot to mention that i used some electric systems from Monobi's Mauser IV, it is a really good sub and would recommend it

water seems to be leaking into the shuttle somehow which causes the electric devices to break, highlighting that ai crewmates completely break when they try to get into the shuttle. Ai seems to also have problems going through the door into the main ballast and the airlock. Other than that this sub is really cool, i am somewhat amused by the whole blackout whenever you ask to much of the engine, although it would be cool if you could find a way to prevent that.

yeah sorry Dust, its got a pretty heavy power draw for the engines. i tried tinkering around but wasnt able to buffer it without altering the values on the parts. (there probably is a setup i just would need to spend the time figuring it out).
id recommend piloting in auto, it helps curve the power draw. Or uhhh........ just a little quirk to make it more fun :squirtyay:

I dont know if this was intentional design or not lol. but for some reason when you go from either a stop or slow movement to full power in any direction the ship completly blacks out for a few seconds.

I designed it to have a blindspot in the shuttle. We usually do two people on the guns when something is happening so it was really fun to coordinate fields of fire if there is a swarm or something. Then the cameras could be cycled through for spotting if someone wanted to do that too. This boat was supposed to be more forgiving for us to get through the campaign.

Fixed it I think and changed the Shuttle a bit to help get water out
