hatkid looks like an absolute boss while wearing it.
i'm not too concerned abt the legs anymore, i think the best fix for it will be to make a shorter version someday haha

as for the back, yeah, thats easily fixable but i forgot about it LOL
At least i thin it can for the lower back.
In theory, i'd say to also select the bones of the legs and paint the lower part of the coat too. Given, i haven't touched a 3D model myself in a long time, but that's how i used to proceed in TS4.
Not sure if this was the reason mod took so long to be published on Workshop.
But it's good nonetheless - I can guarantee!
I have been looking forward to something like this for a while.
