Gao Shun Starts With Dong Zhuo (Rise of the Warlords 190 Start Date)

This mod is based on my "Ji Ling Joins Yuan Shu (190 & 182 Start Dates)" mod, which gives Yuan Shu easier access to his only unique historical general that is currently in the game.

This mod makes it so Gao Shun starts in Dong Zhuo's faction in the Rise of the Warlords 190 start. While he doesn't really take centerstage as an outstanding general until Lu Bu is his own warlord, he likely already served with Lu Bu during his time under Ding Yuan and then Dong Zhuo. So, this mod makes him start with Dong Zhuo, giving the faction access to another awesome unique general.

This is accomplished by a simple script creating Gao Shun in Dong Zhuo's faction at the start of any Rise of the Warlords campaign. Thus, this mod affects both the player when playing as Dong Zhuo, and the AI! Be prepared to face Gao Shun if you are playing as a faction at war with the AI Dong Zhuo.

This mod should be compatible with everything that doesn't change how Gao Shun is spawned.

would you consider as a add-on to this mod (or a separate one) to allow Dong Zhuo in 190 to recruit Camp Crusher and Flying Riders? Thanks!

It appears CA followed the Romance story of Li Ru's death rather than the historical records in this instance.

@FrankerZ Glad you enjoy it! I wanted to make a Li Ru mod to have him start in Li Jue's faction in 194, but the thing is he is already in Li Jue's faction - except that he is marked as dead. I'll see what I can do about it.

Can I ask you to make a Li Ru start in Li Jue 194 faction mod? Im sure he is not dead with Dong Zhuo during the coup, he just vanish and never be heard again.

Very simple and useful mod, my 2 lastest 190 campaigns I cant find him at all, I used Character Finder mod so I cant miss and sure he didnt spawn.

He does, but he is not in any faction in the beginning of the game. Rather, he has a chance to spawn in any faction's recruitment pool after a certain number of turns.

This mod just spawns him in in Dong Zhuo's faction from the start of 190.

does gao shun spawn in the game without this mod playing in 190?
