The "Deimos" 2A2 is a direct successor to the MBT-25 Deimos. Instead of using existing chassis, SSI opted to start with a completely new chassis, and powertrain. The new chassis is highly capable, topping 70 kph, keeping with SSI's "fire and manuever" strategies.

Featuring a new, custom tuned "anti-stall" drive, tracks are responsive to all user input.

Both the onboard CROWS and main turret feature two-plane stabilizers, allowing the gunner to keep his sights on target in the most difficult of conditions.
