During the modification process on the original design that led to the A1 variant, the design team decided to create a more accessible version for customers lacking certain Design Leasing Contracts (DLC) for specialized components found on the other iterations. As such, the B1 variant was born, which, just like its sister A1 variant, swaps out unnecessary remote control functions for an additional grinder and also adds a merge block for streamlining the production process. Still featuring its state-of-the-art welding configuration that allows for the pilot to weld projections layer-by-layer with ease as the glass shield prevents accidental blockage of unfinished blocks. Still make a mistake while building? Not to worry, the Cuddlefish comes with a set of grinders for rapid, precise deconstruction of the offending blocks, while a basic refinery is included for reprocessing any scrap you may encounter. The Cuddlefish has you covered with its speed-enhanced assembler, saving its pilot unnecessary trips to scrounge for the required components with its ability to convert them on-the-go. Unlike many other construction vessels, the Cuddlefish is designed for operation in both zero gravity and a moon's gravity well, with enough thrust to keep itself aloft in any orientation except upside-down!
