Frackin' Universe is a neat mod, but it feels... incomplete. This is caused by one reason and one reason only: the developers lost the G in "Fracking" a long time ago. They've never been able to find it, and because of that FU has been hollow for many years.

But this mod fixes that! It re-adds a nigh perfect clone of the long-lost G so that you can finally experience the intended Fracking Universe, with a hard G. Wave goodbye to that ungodly apostrophe! Revel in knowing that it's never gonna see its wife and kids again!

Replaces every in-game instance of "Frackin'" with "Fracking." That's basically it.

Does not:
-replace the links to the wiki, since frackinguniverse.miraheze does not redirect to the actual wiki (sadly)
-edit internal files & ids containing "frackin", since changing any of that would be an insane amount of work for something no player normally sees (except for the BYOS config window which actually displays filenames for some reason. still not changing it though)
-change the mod info data of FU (that appears on the title screen mod list in the bottom right), since i'm pretty sure editing another mod's info file is impossible
-fix broken marriages
-edit update logs, since that changes so often that it's not even worth bothering
-add the ability to perform fracking, which would be an incredibly easy way to get oil if i actually had enough patience to program an entirely new extraction system

Q: Is this compatible with FU?
A: sadly

Q: Does this mod add anything valuable or interesting to the game?
A: not really

Q: I've found a frackin' you missed, what do i do about it?
A: Awesome! Report it in the forum thread below so that I can fix it and break your kneecaps for having the audacity to criticize me

Q: Is this client-side?
A: It should be. I don't have any friends, but after testing it with the nerd I keep in my basement (who didn't have the mod), it seems to work fine. It only really changes the UI, so I can't really imagine it having issues with other players who don't have the mod.

Q: Isn't this just a language pack?
A: Yeah, it basically is. FU devs explicitly say that language packs aren't really practical since it's hard to keep up with the changes in the main mod, and I don't disagree. I'll keep this mod up for a few months (years?) but I'll probably take it down/private it/just say that it doesn't work fully anymore when that time passes. (granted, it modifies so little that it's very unlikely that it'll be outdated any time soon)

Q: Does this have any incompatible mods?
A: Theoretically, no, but there might be some issues with other mods that edit text FU text (namely, actual language packs), as well as other mods that change the title screen logo (at most just overwritten files though, shouldn't cause a crash)

Special thanks to the find-in-files function. Yes, it did bluescreen my computer once, but I'd much rather take that than going insane looking through every single one of FU's files manually
