Description
BACKGROUND
The RX-118 heavy rescue/cargo helicopter, built by (fictional) Ray Industries since 2016, is known for it's heavy duty capabilities, including rescue operations in adverse condition. Developed to US Air Force specifications, the RX-118 is powered by a full sized jet engine, and boasts two cargo area hatches (rear and floor drop-down), a two man harness system, remote-controlled winch system, two radar systems, as well as an array of life-saving equipment, gear, and outfits. The lifting capability exceeds 5,500 lbs.

INSTRUCTIONS
Turn on the "Engines Power", which is located in the centre console. The jet engine will start automatically. When warmed up and spinning at idle, hit the "Rotor Clutch" and you are ready for flight! The system switches and light switches are located on the cockpit ceiling.

TIPS
  • The helicopter tends to yaw to the left when in start-up mode, this can be countered by pressing yaw right and applying wheel brakes. Alternatively, don't engage the rotor clutch until the engines are in idle mode, this will prevent any spinning.
  • When making a precision landing, use the "UNDR" camera, align the helicopter, toggle position hold, and descend.

Thank you :) Glad you found it good! The wiggling is sometimes due to the high speed and RPS of the rotors; I have tried to fix it but was unsuccessful :(

I'm brand new to stormworks. This helicopter is very easy to use and understand. I did my first rescue mission with the recovery harness system solo and it was a breeze. Thank you for all of your hard work. The air frame seems to wiggle through the air and is a little harder to fly than most of your other Helos. Is this due to the design or something else? Thank you again.

454SS, is it alright if your next O-SAR helicopter/boat can be something cheap and reliable for career mode
