First Steps

Description
So it begins...

Even AI has to start somewhere...

After the final check-ups, David was tasked with doing some final shutdowns and exit the system. However, he found himself unable to do that. Journey through the twisted world created by Aperture Science's own artificial reality creator: C.O.S.A.!

About the map:

This map was submitted to the 2020 Thinking With Portals competition: Picture Perfect. This competition was all about visuals. Specifically, short maps with really good visuals.
First Steps scored second. The map remains almost the same as it was back then, with only a few minor things tweaked and some bugs fixed. Learn more about the competition here [www.thinking.withportals.com].

One of my favorite map so far, definitly great! The only thing that bothered me was the huge posters,I don't get why you made them THAT big.

This is like a whole new game! I really enjoyed the play through of it and loved the neat little lore to it's story. You deserve a pat on the back for this one.

Dull, dreary and garbage.

That was... different. I liked it though. I get what some people are saying when the liken it to the Stanley Parable. Clearly a lot of work and imagination have gone into this - well done!

Weird, weird! Less a puzzle, more someone's dark, fantasy dream. Interesting, but I can't say enjoyable. Thanks - for the experience.
