Your teams current role is supporting the national army, mainly as forward observers for the marines artillery.
The initial stages of the operation aims to punch through the frontline to the north and allow the marines to use the highways behind enemy lines to surround enemy frontline forces.
The fight start in the suburbs of the capital and as darkness falls a nearby marine platoon runs into a well planned ambush and sustain several KIA and wounded and is forced to retreat.
Your team are the closest available American asset and needs to clear the area so that any wounded marines can get medical evacuation.
