The ronin trained in the Mysterious Mountain where he learn the way of the Yamabushi. He mastered all the skills but continued to train, until he had discovered the forbidden skill that lies deep inside the mountain, the cursed path that could had kill him. He learnt and trained it, going against all his teachings, mastering it and it had cursed him, turning him into a cursed demon. A demon that no one can ever defeat it.

The mask is like an amulet charm, enchanted with powerful runic scripting, protecting him from any harm. It also controls the demon that lies within it.
