In A Hat in Time, Yarn is a finite collectable. Each yarn ball in the game can only be collected once. All of them... except for one.

One yarn ball in the game will infinitely spawn when you reload the level. This makes it impossible to collect 100% of the yarn, and knowing it exists takes out a lot of the challenge of unlocking all of the game's hats.

This mod fixes that.

Now the game properly saves when the yarn has been collected and prevents it from respawning. This makes it possible to finally collect all of the yarn in the game and rebalances the game. (Note: if you have previously collected the yarn, you will need to collect it again with the mod enabled for the game to save that the yarn was collected.)

This mod also includes a few related improvements as well:

- The other normally collected-once item in the level will now not appear if the player already has the item. (Collecting this item multiple times does not affect the game, so this is a minor change.)
- The yarn in question has a 1 in 50 chance of not spawning when it otherwise should. This has been patched so the collectible will now always spawn.
- When the collectible is prevented from spawning, the mod will spawn a few pons in place of the original collectible. This can be disabled in the mod's config.
