When I was a kid my dad got me a Homeworld CD. I was hooked instantly and enjoyed many hours of the story, ships, gameplay, etc. At least until the Garden of Kadesh.
That level was an absolute suck-fest for me and I never was able to beat it. I'd even gotten the guide for it and that only made my dilemma worse because it's strategies didn't work, the peak of suckiness was how cool every level afterward was supposed to be while I was getting trampled by gas-worshipping assholes. So beating Homeworld became one of those bucket-list things I carried into adulthood because immaturity I guess.
But then I tried out this mod and was able to FINALLY get past that stupid FREAKING garden and enjoy the rest of the game to completion.
So basically, thank you for helping to complete a childhood goal. The Kushan are finally safe at home in my mind after around 2 decades of being stomped by Hyper-Religious-Hank-Hill-from-Space.
